Rising Sun: Industrial Construction

In 1997, Rising Sun Developing was founded by a father-son team. They began by building post offices. In the years since, they have built schools, athletic facilities, municipal buildings, and natural gas pipelines. And their team has grown to nearly 300. They engaged us to help tell their story with an updated, focused brand identity.

First, we got to know the team. They’re a people-first organization. They’re experts, but always hungry to learn. We recommended they move the company name from Rising Sun Developing to Rising Sun, reflecting their wide body of work and minimizing confusion for new clients. We identified core values and captured them in a tagline: we build better together. Then, we established a photography style and visual identity that is confident, bold, and bright — a framework for future growth.
