Broomwagon: Bike Shop and Café
Broomwagon is a coffee shop and a bar and a bike shop. In the Grand Tours (France, Italy, and Spain) a broomwagon is the vehicle at the back of the pack picking up the cyclists who have had accidents, mechanical problems, or are just plain tired. Like the broomwagons of old, Broomwagon is a comfortable place for wayward cyclists needing a small repair, a pick-me-up, or something stronger. When they came to us, Broomwagon was new to the NoLi block. A welcoming, engaging brand would tie together their range of offerings, and it bring people together.
The visual identity takes cues from vintage bicycle head badges. The colors reflect the warmth of the wood and brick in the space. The aesthetic is approachable and fun, giving the brand a tried-and-true, neighborhood-staple feel with an updated and punchy twist. They also have really great milkshakes. We highly recommend you try one.
